One of the unique activities aboard a Star Clippers tall ship is the chance to climb the mast. Guests are harnessed in and climb up a rope ladder to the Crow’s Nest. A great view is in store for all who make the climb. Share your images with us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
One of the many great traditions on our Atlantic Ocean Crossings is dropping a message in a bottle. On December 16, 2015, Mike Ley found one of our MIB about 58 miles south of the Malaquite Visitors Center on Padre Island National Seashore (PINS) in South Texas. This is the 7th MIB that him and his wife have found! The coordinates show that the MIB was dropped by a Star Clipper passenger east of Puerto Rico on November 9, 2011. So cool!
We are all wishing you great adventures for 2016, fair winds and following seas ahead!
Yoga instructor Masha Sapron will be on board the Royal Clipper on the August 20, 2016 sailing. Her classes blend steadiness and sweetness and through no effort of her own (the practice is just built that way) will leave you too, feeling good. Slimming down and glowy skin are just a by-product of this feel-good-yoga. She speaks English, Russian and French fluently.
